Fred Maestro was bitten by the dance since childhood. Born and Based in Paris he is originary from French Caribbean where he inherited a love of music and passion for dance. He defined the pleasure of dancing as expression of fusion music and body.
Fred likes to communicate his passion and his knowledge to his students. Especially it is known and recognized for the quality of its teaching and dynamism.
He delivers his teaching at several schools in Paris and the International weekly in festivals around the world.

Lara’s dance journey started when she was 5 years old with contemporary dance. Dancing has always been part of her life growing up between modern jazz, hip hop, dance hall, but also gymnastics, discipline she practiced during 8 years. At the age of 14, she discovers couple dancing with rock and salsa and started teaching at the French school Grimaldi Dance at the age of 18. Falling in love with Bachata and Kizomba, she went international at 22 sharing her passion in several festival in Italy, Spain, China, USA, Germany, Turquey, Romania, Haïti. She meet Fred Maestro for the first time at Rimini Afrokizomba Festival and started to work together in 2018. Now, they develop a sensual and enriched style built with technical setps, tricks and lifts. Appreciated for their gentle pedagogy, Fred and Lara teach Urban Kizomba internationally with the value that drives their love for dance: passion, creativity and sharing.
